Job summary

The Walmart Knoxville facility seeks a proven leader to guide managers and associates in delivering exceptional customer service while driving financial performance. You will help set budgets, monitor expenses, and align store plans with company objectives and community engagement initiatives.

You will lead teams, develop talent, ensure safety, and implement programming that supports Walmart's values and equity.

Qualifications

• 1 year’s general management experience with financial accountability.
• Option 1: 1 year’s experience in retail and 1 year’s experience supervising ten or more associates.
• Option 2: 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s experience supervising ten or more associates.
• For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility.
• For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms- specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.

Responsibilities

• Directs and guides members managers and hourly associates on proper customer service approaches and techniques.
• Drives and ensures the financial performance of the facility by confirming that budgeted sales wages and other expenses are achieved.
• Creates and implements plans to improve the financial performance of the facility.
• Oversees safety and operational reviews.
• Promotes company policies procedures mission values and standards of ethics and integrity; supports community outreach.
