Job summary

TD Bank in Summit, New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will lead the day-to-day service, sales and operations in our store, guiding a team to grow customer relationships through TD's model of convenience and advice.

You will coach staff, ensure compliance, manage schedules, and deliver end-to-end advice across products, while building local market knowledge and supporting community engagement.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience working with customers and/or sales.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide Legendary Customer Service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sales and Operational Management skills.
• Notary License (Preferred).
• Must maintain an active registration status with NMLS upon hire to engage in conversations about loan products.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of advice and service colleagues in achieving store objectives.
• Provides day-to-day leadership and work direction to ensure effective delivery of personalized service and advice.
• Leads advisory activities with complex product knowledge and multiple systems.
• Delivers end-to-end advice to Customers and manages referrals.
• Manages colleague scheduling to meet Customer demand and compliance requirements.
• Handles high-risk issues and escalations as needed.
