Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Fort Worth to lead store operations, oversee staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will manage scheduling, training, and the execution of selling strategies to meet KPIs and ensure a positive shopping experience for fans and customers alike.

You will coach and develop team members, handle store finance and inventory processes, and ensure adherence to company policies while maintaining a welcoming, high-performing store environment.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs and goal setting with regular follow-up.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment, including helping them understand how their work supports company objectives and the success of the store and Lids overall.
• Recruit and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Encourage store associates’ direct compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including safekeeping of inventory, funds, and property.
• Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs, sales targets, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Resolve customer feedback and address issues in the moment, including escalations and urgent requests.
• Open and close the store following procedures per the Operations Manual.
• Maintain store technology and equipment (MPOS, Lids Custom) including daily audits and updates.
• Assist in preparing for inventory audits and support as needed.
