POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Position Title: Store Leader

Position Overview:

The Store Leader contributes to Range USA’s success by leading a team of engaged store associates to create and maintain the Range USA experience for customers. The Store Leader is responsible for directing and supervising the workplace, ensuring the safety of the staff, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety, managing the store’s financial performance, ensuring compliance with all ATF requirements, and sustaining brand equity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Achieve high levels of personal and store sales performance and results through ensuring excellent customer service practices and demonstrating a high degree of professionalism with customers and associates.
  • Assist in onboarding all new hires and identify internal talent for leadership roles.
  • Monitor compliance with Range USA policies, including safekeeping of funds, personnel practices, record-keeping, and store maintenance.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with and oversee the performance of Operations and Assistant Leaders.
  • Partner with ASL for final interviews with candidates and in some low-volume stores, perform some ASL duties.
  • Provide leadership to associates in executing daily tasks and sales goals.
  • Ensure firearm safety rules are followed and all staff are trained accordingly.
  • Develop employees through ongoing training, coaching, and performance assessments.
  • Review operational reports to ensure adherence to policies, monitor profitability, and manage payroll.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and documentation.
  • Ensure effective communication between the store, supervisors, and support center.
  • Identify and resolve issues impacting service, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Ensure strict ATF compliance and adherence to firearm handling policies.
  • Follow OSHA & EPA regulations, including lead safety and other mandates.
  • Support staff responsibilities as needed to meet daily business needs.
