What is your role?

As an MTX Lead for Eleventh Hour Games, you will develop and implement successful MTX strategies by applying industry standards and market research. You will work with relevant teams to develop and execute revolving MTX shop strategies.

This role requires a deep understanding of the MTX lifecycle within ARPGs and familiarity with the Steam store, specifically adapting to Last Epoch. The ideal candidate seeks ownership and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills. Since this is a fully remote position, excellent communication and autonomy are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in a related MTX role.
• Strong understanding of game mechanics and monetization strategies.
• Knowledge of digital platforms, online stores, and payment systems.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical tools related to strategy.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with developers, marketing, and other departments.
• A portfolio or samples demonstrating your ability to design and optimize monetization systems.
• Deep understanding of microtransactions, including their impact on game economies and best practices.
• Ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills for technical issues and challenges.
• Passion for games and the gaming industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage the digital store or in-game environment, including selection, pricing, and promotion of virtual items and microtransactions.
• Track and analyze sales data to understand popular microtransactions and their contribution to revenue.
• Develop and implement sales strategies, including promotional offers and collaborations with marketing.
• Manage inventory, ensuring smooth delivery of purchases.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure microtransactions are well-integrated.
• Analyze microtransaction trends and player preferences to inform future development.
• Monitor for fraud and abuse.
• Ensure compliance with store regulations.
