Job summary

Total Wine & More in Conroe, TX is seeking an Associate Store Manager to lead a customer-focused team and drive store performance. You will mentor staff, manage operations, and ensure an excellent shopper experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

Strong candidates have 2+ years in a supervisory retail role, familiarity with POS systems, and the ability to work evenings/weekends. A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory for all.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years work experience; 2+ years in a managerial/supervisory retail role.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Flexible schedule including evenings/weekends preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team; develop product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink; manage day-to-day operations.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and fostering a welcoming store atmosphere.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure adherence to laws/regulations related to alcohol sale and store safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
