Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate capable of opening and closing in the absence of store management, handling cash, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for business each day. You will engage customers, resolve issues, and model best practices to deliver a distinctive experience.

You will assist with vendor deliveries, pricing, displays, inventory, and back-office tasks while maintaining compliant store operations and a welcoming atmosphere for customers and patients.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling, and ensure readiness for the business day.
• Process product returns, order voids, refunds, cash drops, and provide change at registers.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, and model customer service best practices.
• Engage customers and patients, greet them, assist with products and services, and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain store keys and assist with vendor deliveries, pricing, display development, and stockroom organization.
• Keep accurate inventory counts, assist with back-office tasks, and ensure compliance with store policies.
