Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6 months to 1 year of retail and management work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic business and customer service principles including planning and organizing, resource management and leadership.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and effectively; handle customer concerns and questions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide assistance or recommendations; ring up sales accurately.
• Operate and troubleshoot cash register, handle payments and balance cash at end of shift.
• Assist with fuel/lottery/machine transactions and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Monitor product displays, stock and pricing according to guidelines; ensure signage is current.
• Supervise staff when needed and help with scheduling and performance feedback.
