Dollar General Corporation is seeking a dedicated Cashier/Stocker to support store operations and customer service excellence. You will manage cash transactions, assist customers, maintain stock, and help uphold safety and shop layout standards.

The role requires basic math, cash handling knowledge, and the ability to follow plan-o-grams. Previous retail experience and high school diploma are preferred; relocation is not offered.

Formación

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and process shipments according to store procedures.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise; build displays.
• Restock returned and recovered items.
• Order zones and drop shipments per Store Manager guidance.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, restrooms, and stockroom.
