Job summary

Dollar General in Northern Kentucky is seeking a capable Cashier/Stocker to perform frontline duties with lead responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, and assist customers while ensuring plan-o-gram compliance and proper cash handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or higher preferred.
• Six months supervisory experience or related experience/training preferred.
• Ability to perform math calculations and handle cash accurately.
• Familiarity with plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety policies and cash control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks following store procedures.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock and rotate merchandise on shelves; build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise and manage transfers.
• Operate cash register and process payments accurately.
• Greet customers and assist with locating items.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; open/close procedures as directed.
• Provide superior customer service leadership when needed.
