Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to support daily store operations in an Ohio location. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, assist customers, operate the cash register, and help maintain a clean, organized store. In the absence of store leadership, you’ll help manage cashier accountability and store procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and operate a cash register.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise; rotate and face items on shelves.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate the cash register and handle payments; bag purchases and provide receipts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize displays; ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Open/close store under direction of Area Manager and monitor cash controls.
