Job summary

Famous Footwear in Bend, OR is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the team in the Store Manager's absence. You’ll drive customer engagement, sales growth, and an in-store culture that reflects the Famous Feeling.

Responsibilities include coaching associates, interviewing and hiring, managing daily operations, and ensuring policy compliance while delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Has at least 1 year of sales experience (retail sales preferred).
• Demonstrates experience in interviewing, hiring, and training people.
• Exhibits ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate positively with store Associates at all levels.
• Can work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Demonstrates an advanced understanding of the general retail practices and procedures.
