Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Mississippi LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer.

You will assist customers with questions, manage sales at the register, stock shelves, receive merchandise, and help unload trucks while ensuring a safe, friendly store environment. This role requires strong customer service, good communication, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and the flexibility to perform a variety of duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
