Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6 months to 1 year of retail/management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic business and customer service principles including planning, organizing and leadership.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and professionally.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts and handle cash/transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous, attentive service.
• Ring up sales accurately on the register and handle payments.
• Assist with fuel, lottery, money order, telecom transactions and general store duties.
• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising, replenish stock and set pricing signage.
• Supervise shifts and assist Store Manager; train and coach staff as needed.
• Ensure cash handling, banking and reporting are completed accurately.
