Role Overview
Reports To: Store Manager
As a Store Lead, you will partner with your Store Manager to support store team members in achieving sales performance expectations through active coaching, developing a team selling environment, and operational excellence when you are the manager on duty. This position involves being assigned store keys to open and close the store when scheduled, in the capacity of the manager on duty.

Leadership
- Partner with the management team to lead store staff in achieving sales, service, and operational goals when assigned as the manager on duty.
- Model company values and lead by example as an active coach.
- Communicate priorities and sales information effectively to maximize business.
- Assist in recruiting and promote diversity within the store environment.
Performance and Operational Excellence
- Support the achievement of store business plans, including sales and operational targets.
- Leverage store reports to make informed decisions.
- Participate in business outreach and communicate leads to the Store Manager.
- Identify performance opportunities and collaborate on development plans.
- Ensure proper staffing and assist in training staff on internal operational functions.
- Stay informed on company policies, directives, and initiatives.
- Support implementation of store programs to improve efficiency and brand standards.
Workplace Culture
- Contribute to an inclusive, engaging store environment.
- Support ongoing learning and development initiatives.
- Serve as a motivational role model for team members.
- Conduct regular store meetings to ensure team alignment with company directives.
Customer Experience
- Train the team to meet customer service expectations and create exceptional experiences.

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail or sales experience
- Creative, good judgement, and business acumen
- Self-motivated with results-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven training and team development ability
- Proficient in technology, Microsoft Office, and POS systems
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and operate ladders and see details such as fabric patterns and colors.
