Job summary

Role Description

The Store Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Edina, MN, responsible for overseeing daily store operations and ensuring an outstanding guest experience. The Store Lead coordinates opening and closing procedures, manages product presentation and inventory levels, and supports the implementation of brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines. This role guides and supports team members on the sales floor, provides hands-on coaching, and helps train staff in product knowledge and Läderach's service philosophy. The Store Lead also assists with cash handling, reports, and compliance with company policies, while actively engaging in retail sales, sampling, and storytelling about Läderach's chocolate. Collaboration with management to achieve sales targets, maintain a clean and safe environment, and uphold food safety and hygiene standards is an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, including clear verbal communication and the ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance.
• Proven customer service experience in a retail or hospitality environment, with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
• Retail sales skills, including product storytelling, upselling, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Organization skills to manage daily operations, prioritize tasks, maintain accurate records, and uphold store standards.
• Experience in training or coaching team members, including onboarding new staff and supporting ongoing skill development.
• Prior leadership experience in retail or food service is preferred, with the ability to lead by example on the sales floor.
• Comfort with point-of-sale systems, basic computer skills, and cash-handling procedures.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Interest in premium food or chocolate products and willingness to learn detailed product knowledge.
