Job summary

Archipelago Companies is seeking a Sales Expert for a new melin location in Hawaii. You will deliver premium customer service, connect with guests, and help open the new store, managing daily revenue and ensuring top-quality operations.

You will maintain product knowledge, handle cash, operate the POS system, restock, and keep the floor clean and organized. A positive, entrepreneurial team player mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of sales and merchandising experience with opening/closing responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to tailor style to the audience.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Preferred knowledge in action sports, golfing, running/training, outdoors.
• Experience operating POS systems (Shopify) and handling POS procedures.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and build rapport with hospitality and service.
• Maintain deep product knowledge and communicate selections to meet customer needs.
• Demonstrate a positive, energetic sales attitude with team members.
• Assist with restocking, back-of-house tasks, and daily store maintenance.
• Open/close store following standard procedures and reconcile tills.
