Job summary

GameStop in Edison, NJ is seeking a Retail Keyholder to assist store management and supervise daily store activities. You will provide exceptional guest service, share product knowledge, and drive sales while ensuring a clean, organized shopping environment.

You will process transactions, promote rewards programs, and help manage inventory, returns, and Omni-Channel orders. A strong team player with retail or management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to work alone, stand, and move throughout the store unassisted for up to 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, address questions, and promote promotions and trade-in programs.
• Support the shopping environment and nurture guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business.
• Process guest purchases and returns via the POS system with accuracy.
• Address guest questions in person or by phone to ensure top-notch service.
• Promote GameStop rewards programs and benefits.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Complete Omni-Channel orders daily.
• Safeguard assets via inventory control and loss prevention practices.
• Conduct store inventory counts and stock replenishment to keep shelves represented.
• Assist management in meeting sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete admin duties.
• Close out daily transactions and balance cash, preparing bank deposits as required.
• Check shipments for discrepancies and report to leadership as needed.
• Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls with proper labeling.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates in the absence of management.
• Adhere to all policies and code of conduct.
