Job summary

GameStop in Watchung, NJ is seeking a Retail Keyholder to assist the store management by supervising daily store activities, delivering best-in-class guest service, and driving sales through knowledge of products and promotions.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, promoting loyalty programs, maintaining a clean store, and coordinating Omni-Channel orders. Must have 1+ year retail experience and high school diploma; eligible to work in the US. Competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to work alone, stand, and move throughout the store unassisted for up to 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions, assist with video gaming needs, inform about promotions and trade-in, and promote loyalty programs.
• Process guest purchases and returns via POS accurately while delivering top-notch service.
• Promote GameStop benefits such as reservations and Pro Rewards loyalty program.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising according to guidelines.
• Complete Omni-Channel orders daily and ensure inventory control and loss-prevention practices.
• Count, balance, and reconcile daily transactions in the POS; manage bank deposits and ensure proper cash handling.
• Check shipments for discrepancies and report issues to management.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates in the absence of management.
• Follow all store policies and opening/closing procedures.
• Observe performance and provide feedback to store management.
