Job summary

Family Dollar in Claxton, GA is seeking a part-time associate to deliver courteous customer service, help customers locate merchandise, and process sales at the register. The role includes stocking, inventory support, and assisting with daily store operations under the Store Manager's guidance.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance to store team members on operating practices and procedures.
• Greets, assists and thanks customers in a positive manner; resolves inquiries and concerns.
• Handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system.
• Maintains a clean, well-stocked store and assists in unloading merchandise.
• Assists Store Manager in asset protection and daily store operations.
• Assists in opening/closing and supervision during absence of management.
• Completes all Position Based Training timely.
