Job summary

Belk is seeking a Maintenance and Housekeeping Associate to maintain a clean, safe, and inviting store environment. This hourly role supports cleaning, maintenance, and supply replenishment while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include restocking at registers, ensuring safety, and keeping lights on as needed. The position requires lifting up to 40 lbs and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning, maintenance, and replenishment tasks to keep store clean and safe.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, clean mirrors, collect trash, and restock supplies.
• Clean restrooms and breakroom, sanitize surfaces, and restock essentials.
• Replenish bags, tissue, and supplies at registers; organize cleaning materials for quick access.
• Identify hazards and support safety measures to reduce risk.
• Replace interior and exterior lights to maintain a well-lit store.
• Learn processes and policies, stay informed about products and promotions.
• Contribute to a positive store culture and support teammates.
