The General Manager (GM) leads our store in alignment with our vision: “Healthier Pets. Happier People. Better World.” Responsibilities include developing a high-performing team, driving sales growth, and ensuring the welfare of animals. The GM manages store operations, including team leadership, sales, expense control, and customer service, to achieve profitability and a superior partner, guest, and pet experience.

Essential Job Functions:

The GM performs duties related to:

• People: Building and developing a diverse team, promoting a positive culture, and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Performance: Achieving sales and operational goals, managing labor and financial metrics, and marketing the store through community events.
• Process: Maintaining animal health, merchandise presentation, inventory, safety, and store appearance.

Supervision and Work Environment: The GM manages store staff and activities, with periodic performance reviews by the District Manager. The role involves indoor and outdoor tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods, with some travel required.
