Job summary

American Special Holdings Corp. is seeking a General Manager in Florida to lead store operations, drive sales, and maximize profitability while ensuring top-tier guest experience. You will manage prime costs, schedules, training, and compliance across shifts, delivering brand standards and local marketing initiatives.

You will develop a bench of leaders, coach team members, and communicate performance metrics to leadership, ensuring consistent quality and service during peak hours and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of restaurant or quick-service experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Valid Food Manager Certification (ServSafe or equivalent) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to read and act on sales, labor, and inventory reports without guidance.
• Full-time availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profitability by managing store prime costs (COGS, inventory, waste) and labor to target.
• Maintain labor hours by building schedules aligned to sales volume and demand.
• Hire, train, and coach team members and shift managers across shifts.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by upholding quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Execute brand standards and maintain franchise presentation and operations.
• Complete daily operations like sales reconciliation, cash handling, inventory, and reporting.
• Maintain food safety and compliance, with proper handling and on-site food manager during hours.
• Oversee equipment, cleanliness, and maintenance; escalate issues to avoid impact on operations.
• Lead local marketing efforts and promotions to grow store sales and community outreach.
• Monitor performance metrics and transparently communicate results to the team.
