Job summary

US Foods is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead front-end operations, drive sales and profitability, and supervise team members in a busy retail environment. You will support training, scheduling, and loss prevention while maintaining customer service excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with a focus on executing merchandising programs and inventory controls to meet budgeted goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years experience in a retail work environment.
• At least two (2) years of management/supervisory experience.
• Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Proficient with computer use, spreadsheets, email and internet software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach front-end staff to deliver efficient service at registers and throughout the store.
• Assist in budgeting and the annual operating plan (AOP) to achieve sales and profit targets.
• Maintain loss prevention and shop floor standards; lead inventory processes and merchandising programs.
