Job summary

Wal-Mart Stores East, LP seeks an accomplished leader to guide and develop store teams, coaching associates and implementing training to improve service and performance. The role emphasizes budgeting, merchandising, and process improvements to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

You will hire, mentor, and set expectations across the organization while ensuring policy compliance and a culture of belonging. You’ll partner with stakeholders to execute business initiatives and lead change.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and people development skills with ability to hire and mentor associates.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses within a store/area.
• Customer service oriented with ability to drive store performance through data and action plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store teams, teaching training and active listening to associates.
• Manage and support customer service initiatives, ensuring a high quality customer experience.
• Drive store financial performance by reviewing PL, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Coordinate plans with stakeholders, set clear expectations, and develop action plans to meet goals.
• Oversee merchandising, inventory flow, and store operations to mitigate shrink and improve sales.
