Job summary

SNIPES East Hartford is seeking a Part Time Regular role to support store operations in a fast-paced sneaker and streetwear environment. The 3rd Key will manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, handling opening/closing and administrative tasks.

You will drive sales, maintain merchandising standards, assist with training, and ensure safety and policy compliance while engaging with the community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with the drive to achieve results.
• Ability to take initiative and lead when needed.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 15–30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of leadership.
• Guide sales and profitability to meet store and individual goals.
• Communicate goals and directives to the team to achieve sales plans.
• Set up promotions with proper signage promptly.
• Direct and maintain merchandise presentation per Visual Merchandising standards.
• Train and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Ensure associate safety by reporting hazards to management.
• Process register functions and follow procedures as directed.
• Maintain store cleanliness on sales floor and in stockroom.
• Communicate changes in store policies to staff and ensure correct implementation.
