Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. in Dublin, CA seeks a Senior Analyst, Store Finance to manage month-end close, forecast, budget and 5-year planning for Store Operations. You will generate ad-hoc analyses, prepare reports for leadership, and drive improvements in finance processes.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Store Finance as an individual contributor in a hybrid role, working in-office part time and remotely as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant work experience, with planning and forecasting experience desirable.
• Clear understanding of basic financial concepts.
• Detail oriented, with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
• Strong analytical ability and ability to reconcile own work.
• Ability to cope with pressure, multiple tasks, deadlines and changing priorities.
• Build relationships with internal contacts and communicate with senior leaders.
• Advanced financial skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support Capital and Expense financial processes for Store Operations.
• Provide financial leadership and support with strong controls and actionable insights.
• Lead monthly capital and expense forecasting and consolidate forecast changes.
• Support the Annual Budget and 5 Year Plan processes and identify risks.
• Prepare Capital Expenditure Request materials and ensure thorough review.
• Produce financial reports and analysis for leadership reviews.
• Drive process improvements and standardized reporting tools.
• Perform financial modeling, scenario planning and ad hoc analyses.
• Conduct ROI analysis and track project financial results.
