Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Dublin, CA to own a cross-functional P&L across multiple business areas. You will lead weekly and monthly forecasting, drive budgeting cycles, and partner with Directors and VPs for executive-ready reports.

You will manage expense and capital planning, perform ad-hoc analyses, and support procurement challenges with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery. Office presence is expected in this role.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of financial/operational planning and forecasting experience
• Strong ability to produce high-level financial summaries/decks for executives
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and able to learn new systems
• Strategic planning and budgeting experience
• Strong communication and time-management under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Forecasting process: aggregate and report expense and capital forecasts for stores and corporate partners for senior executives
• Track weekly spend; provide explanations, analyses, and variances to budget/forecast; prepare detailed reports
• Prepare and reconcile weekly/monthly/quarterly/year-end forecasts and AP accruals
• Administer Hyperion setup for budget cycles; validate reports against PeopleSoft
• Lead annual budgeting for expenses and capital; collaborate with management and finance partners
• Develop and track 5-year plans for expense and capex
• Analyze procurement challenges related to spend management and efficiency opportunities
• Handle ad-hoc requests and support decks for executive communication
• Submit CERs for capital projects and manage quarterly asset write-offs
