Free People in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support selling, service, and operations. You will lead a team, drive brand experience, and ensure a seamless omni-channel customer journey using MPOS/POS tools.

You will recruit, onboard, and coach staff, while collaborating with partners to maintain visual standards and store profitability. This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays and offers competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

1+ years of store leadership experience.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Team player with strong communication and coaching mindset.
Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization.
Passion for the FP brand and customer experience.

Responsibilities

Enhance brand experience by partnering with leadership to create an engaging visual experience and personalized service.
Guide the team to prioritize customer service and styling to achieve store goals and provide timely feedback.
Support daily operations, scheduling, payroll, and zone accountability to optimize performance.
Foster inclusive communication, daily team briefings, and knowledge sharing on product and brand messaging.
