Job summary

Lowe’s Stores is seeking a Store Merchandising – Store Environment Intern based at the Store Support Center in Mooresville, NC. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting strategies that shape how customers experience our stores, working with Store Merchandising teams to understand product presentation, space, signage, and merchandising execution.

The 10-week Summer Internship Program runs May 24 – July 30, 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Retail Management, Marketing, Business, Design, Analytics, or related field.
• Expected graduation date December 2027 or May 2028.
• Ability to work at Lowe’s SSC‑Mooresville, NC for the duration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn how store environment and merchandising strategies influence customer experience.
• Support development and execution of store merchandising initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Merchandising, Store Operations, Marketing, Design.
• Translate research and data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Present project findings to business partners and leadership.
