Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Associate in Norridge, IL to uphold the store’s cleanliness and recovery standards while delivering friendly customer service. You’ll help customers find products, assist with checkout, and support omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.

You will move and dust fixtures, stock shelves, and participate in safety programs. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting, and a willingness to work nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
• Provide friendly customer service and help shoppers locate products.
• Handle checkout and process payments to standard.
• Assist with omni-channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store).
• Support truck unloading, stocking and planogram compliance.
• Follow SOPs and company policies to ensure compliance.
