What is a Store Driver?

An entry-level store position responsible for supporting the delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role involves delivering parts, assisting with tasks and inventory processes in the store. This position can be part-time or full-time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely deliver parts to customers
• Pick and stage parts for orders
• Handle returns and cores
• Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers
• Collect credit accounts daily

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, parking lot)
• Stocking tasks (truck and back stock)

Success Factors

• Basic driving and navigation skills
• Proficiency with delivery systems

• Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Physical Demands

Requires walking, standing, talking, hearing, handling, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, chemicals, electrical hazards, explosives, and vibration may occur. Noise level is usually moderate.
