What is a Store Driver?

An entry-level store position responsible for supporting the delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role involves delivering parts, assisting with tasks and inventory processes in the store. This position can be part-time or full-time and requires fleet safety certification.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
• Pick and stage parts for customer orders
• Pick up returns and cores
• Distribute weekly/monthly sales flyers
• Collect credit accounts daily

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot)
• Stocking including truck and back stock

Success Factors

• Basic driving and navigation skills
• Proficiency with delivery systems
• Friendly communication skills
• Ability to locate and stock parts efficiently
• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Operating inventory systems and store equipment

Preferred Experience

Physical Demands

The role involves walking, standing, talking, hearing, using hands, reaching, climbing, and occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and depth perception.

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work, with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, electrical hazards, and noise is possible.
