Maverik, Inc. is seeking a Store Director Trainee in Albuquerque, NM. The program provides comprehensive training and transition to Store Director after successful completion.

Initial compensation is hourly during training, then salaried at the Store Director level with responsibilities for driving store performance and leading the team. Training lasts 6 weeks with hourly pay of $25.00–$30.00/hour, moving to a salary thereafter.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle financial management, including P&L, budgets, and business plans.
• Experience or willingness to learn in areas such as recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, customer service, and operational efficiency.
• ServeSafe Certification: Currently certified or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Succession and workforce planning: recruit, hire, train, set performance expectations, coach, and recommend terminations.
• Training and development: deliver company training programs to leaders and store team.
• Safety and security: ensure safety of team, customers, and vendors.
• P&L management: work with District Manager on budgets and business plans.
• Implement company initiatives and enhance customer experience through coaching and teamwork.
• Lead operations to improve productivity and meet standards.
• Drive food service initiatives to maximize sales while controlling waste.
