Job summary

The Store Director at Albertsons Companies in Frisco, TX leads all store operations, drives sales, and ensures profitability while delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for all store departments.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing leaders and associates.
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, inclusion, and teamwork.
• Conduct regular performance discussions and succession planning activities.
• Ensure leaders are effectively managing staffing levels, scheduling, training, and development.
• Drive sales growth through merchandising, promotions, and customer service initiatives.
• Monitor and manage store profit and loss performance.
• Achieve goals related to sales, labor, shrink, inventory, and operating expenses.
• Analyze business performance metrics and implement action plans to improve results.
• Identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency and profitability.
• Champion a customer-first culture across the store.
• Ensure delivery of exceptional service standards across all departments.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns and implement solutions to improve satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment.
• Oversee daily store operations and ensure execution of programs and initiatives.
• Ensure departments maintain proper inventory levels and merchandising standards.
• Monitor compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Coordinate efforts across departments to maximize productivity and effectiveness.
• Ensure readiness for audits, inspections, and store visits.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment for associates and customers.
• Support and enforce workplace safety programs and loss prevention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment policies, and operational guidelines.
• Investigate and address policy violations as appropriate.
• Represent the store within the local community.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, vendors, and business partners.
• Support recruiting, hiring events, and community engagement initiatives.

Position Purpose

The Store Director is responsible for the overall operation, leadership, and financial performance of a retail grocery store. This position leads all store departments to achieve sales growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and compliance standards. The Store Director develops and empowers leaders, creates a customer-focused culture, and ensures the store operates safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development
