Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a Project Manager for Store Design & Planning to develop preliminary scope and conceptual plans for new stores, remodels, and special projects. The role coordinates with Construction Project Managers, Merchandising Solutions, Maintenance, Procurement, and internal teams to drive design and delivery.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in architecture/design/construction project management, strong CAD/SKetchUp/Adobe skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or junior college required.
• 3–5 years of experience in architecture, interior design, or construction project management.
• Knowledge of retail store design concepts and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary scope and conceptual plans for proposed projects (new stores, remodels, and specials).
• Lead collaboration with Construction Project Managers, Merchandising Solutions, Maintenance, Procurement and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate site-adapted casework and decor drawings with vendors and consultants.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize work, ensure design compliance with merchandising standards.
• Maintain project documentation and track progress through all phases.
