Job summary

Nike Department Manager in Orlando leads a high-volume retail team, delivering strong customer service and store growth. You’ll coach and empower team members, recruit talent, and manage day-to-day operations to ensure a positive, inclusive shopping experience for our customers and communities.

This role requires a blend of leadership, retail know-how, and process excellence, with evenings, weekends and holidays as needed, and eligibility for Nike benefits and team incentives.

Qualifications

• Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
• One year of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build and lead high-performing teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods of time with or without accommodations.
• Proven ability to utilize tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching and counseling.
• Able to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team that helps keep all store functions running seamlessly.
• Ensuring the store is staffed by attracting, assessing and onboarding future teammates.
• Equip store employees with tools needed to succeed in day-to-day responsibilities.
• Leading the store’s team and business results/metrics, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales and people leadership.
• Managing product life cycle from stockroom to visual merchandising and sales floor.
