Job summary

Nike Factory Store - Kittery seeks a Department Manager to lead a high-volume, fast-paced team and deliver exceptional customer service. You will coach and train staff, drive store growth, and represent Nike’s brand and community partnerships at the Kittery location.

You’ll recruit and develop a diverse team, manage daily operations, and uphold Nike Service Principles while ensuring a positive, inclusive environment for customers and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
• One year of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build and lead high-performing teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb and stand for extended periods.
• Proven ability to use tools for conflict resolution and coaching.
• Able to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team that keeps all store functions running smoothly.
• Ensuring the store is staffed by attracting, assessing and onboarding future teammates.
• Equip store employees with tools needed to succeed day-to-day.
• Lead store team and business results including budgeting, planning and customer service.
• Manage product life cycle from stockroom to visual merchandising and sales floor.
