We are more than just a Parts Store, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a Counter Sales associate, you are the 'face of the retail store' and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down and rebuild engines, but a background in automotive parts is essential. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other career paths within our company.

What you will be doing:

• Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Using your parts knowledge to assist team members and customers
• Delivering outstanding customer service and interactions
• Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores
• Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Utilizing technology, cash registers, and catalog systems

What you’ll need:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical/trade courses are a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
• Good listening skills and empathy

Additional preferred qualifications:

• Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, marine, or dealership
• Experience with inventory management systems
• Customer-centric attitude
• ASE Certifications (a plus but not required)
