Join to apply for the Store Counter Sales role at NAPA Auto Parts.

We are more than just a Parts Store and are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person when customers enter our stores for their automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down motors (but if you can, that’s a plus) — a background in automotive parts is essential. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other career paths within our company.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.
• Using your parts knowledge to assist team members in answering customer questions.
• Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
• Engaging with customers and bringing high energy to our fast-paced stores.
• Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs.

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn.
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

• Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.
• Experience with cataloging and inventory management systems.
• Customer-centric mindset.
• ASE Certifications are a plus but not required.
