We are more than just a parts store, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales, you will be the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines (though that’s a bonus) — a background in automotive parts is essential. This role offers a great opportunity whether you're looking to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other opportunities within our company.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
• Delivering outstanding customer service and interactions
• Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores
• Welcoming and engaging retail customers to ensure a positive experience
• Using technology (computer, cash register, catalog system, phone)

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers

Preferred Qualifications (Not a Deal Breaker)

• Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership work
• Experience with cataloging and inventory management systems
• Customer-centric mindset
• ASE Certifications
