Murphy Wall Products International Inc in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced store manager to oversee all store functions and staff, ensuring excellent customer service and product knowledge in line with the company mission and values. You will open/close on schedule, greet customers, resolve complaints, train staff, manage inventory and invoicing, process payments, and keep displays stocked.

A strong background in retail management and P&L accountability is preferred.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail management or store management preferred.
• P&L accountability experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Open and close store on time for all scheduled shifts.
• Greet customers and answer questions to meet their needs.
• Address customer complaints promptly and coordinate with staff.
• Train employees to upsell products based on customer needs.
• Oversee loaders and assist team as needed.
• Ensure forklift checklist is current and forklift maintained.
• Complete daily invoicing and financials following procedures.
• Process cash, check and credit card payments accurately.
• Maintain registers and send daily information to Fort Worth.
• Store and organize goods in warehouse and assist with ordering.
• Perform monthly and quarterly inventory counts and monitor shrink.
• Keep merchandise stocked on displays and schedule deliveries.
• Notify Director of Sales if customers stop buying or competitors seen.
• Review Salesman Call Reports daily to identify potential customers.
• Monitor aging reports and assist with customer collections.
• Keep items on the sales floor 100% stocked.
• Maintain profitability through sales growth and controllable expenses.
• Keep showroom, floors and counters clean with full displays.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: 00-Fort Worth - Fort Worth, TX, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Oversee all store functions and employees to ensure excellent customer service, suggestive selling and product knowledge to all customers as spelled out with the Company Mission Statement and Core Values. Communicate all expectations to Fort Worth Office

Key Responsibilities:

• Open and close store on time for all scheduled shifts
• Greeting customers in person and answering the phone and asking them about their product needs: answer questions and make recommendations to meet their needs from the store’s equipment and merchandise.
• Addresses any customer complaints or concerns promptly and addresses these with all store employees to improve customer service.
• Train all employees to suggestive sell products that will benefit customers based on their individual construction or project needs.
• Oversees loaders and assists with other employees when needed
• Ensure forklift checklist is kept current and that forklift is maintained
• Complete all daily invoicing and financials following Murco procedures including counting drawers daily.
• Use computer to ring in customer items and process cash, check and credit card payments accurately.
• Maintain all registers logged in with their daily information sent to Ft Worth in a timely manner.
• Storing and organizing goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse, assist with ordering and counting merchandise when needed.
• Accountable for completing monthly & quarterly inventory count and for shrink result
• Work with store employees to make sure all merchandise is stocked in displays and stack outs are completed per schedule.
• Schedule store orders and deliveries.
• Notify Director of Sales if customers stop buying or if competitor products are seen
• Review the Salesman Call Report daily to find potential customers
• Monitors the aging report and helps call customers for collections.
• Make sure all items on sales floor are stocked to 100% full.
• Accountable for P&L profit through sales growth and managing controllable expenses.
• Maintaining work areas and equipment, keep the show room, floors and counter areas clean with full displays at all times
• Bilingual a plus

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred background with retail management or store management responsibilities.
• P&L experience and previous accountability.

Required Skills:

• Strong communication skills and preferably a background in retail sales.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs, stock merchandise and operate a cash register
• Able to wear a mask during work hours and to work all scheduled shifts.
• Able to pass a drug test.
• Reliable transportation.

Schedule:

• Weekend - 7 am to noon on Saturday
• Monday to Friday
