We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site Supervisor at our Ft. Worth Distribution Center. This position provides vital assistance the to the area MAnsagerby supervising regular associates and temporary workers.Key responsibilities include assessing production schedules and man-hour requirements, interpreting company policies, enforcing safety regulations, and evaluating production methods for efficiency.Additionally, this role helps prepare performance evaluations, maintains time and production records, and fosters an open, engaging work environment.Candidates must demonstrate perseverance, initiative, and a "can-do" attitude to ensure top performance and service for our stores. A high level of attendance is an essential function of this position, and candidates must pass a background check and pre-hire drug test.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages, plans and regularly directs the work of hourly team in the distribution center to ensure timely and accurate processing and distribution of merchandise to stores, steady work flow, and even apportionment of tasks between workers
- Responsible for developing and creating an effective team culture which recognizes individual and team performance, while maintaining associate morale in a demanding work environment. This includes assisting in interviewing, selecting, and training employees as well as evaluation of employees for purposes of recommending promotions or other changes in status, addressing complaints, and recommending disciplinary measures
- Assists with administrative tasks and functions for the responsible area including records of employee production and workflow
- Monitors safety of the workers and merchandise according to distribution center policies
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Strong written and verbal communication and organization skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to regularly stand and/or walk for extended periods throughout a large warehouse and physically inspect the facility, observe associate behavior and communicate clearly and coherently with associates for training, evaluation and problem solving purposes
- Ability to occasionally sit for extended periods of time while working at a computer terminal, conducting meetings, or counseling, interviewing, or training associates
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, squat, stretch, crawl, or climb stairs in order to inspect merchandise and physical facilities
- Exceptional attendance with flexible work hours as needed
