Job summary

Altorfer Inc. is seeking a supervisory role to lead a team of four store employees in a busy shop/warehouse environment. You will assist customers with sales and rental equipment, handle computer input for billings, and coordinate deliveries and pickups.

The position requires experience with equipment applications, strong customer service, and the ability to train customers on machine operation. A valid driver’s license and high school diploma are required, with on-call responsibilities and

Working Hours/Days

7:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Friday, overtime and Saturdays as needed

Basic Duties

• Responsible for supervising 4 other store employees.
• Assist customers with sales and rental equipment needs.
• Computer input of rental and sale billings, ordering, stocking and selling of supply items.
• Loads and unloads equipment, schedule deliveries and pickups.
• Responsible for being on call 24 hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related work and management experience.
• Knowledge and previous experience dealing with applications of various equipment and sales items.
• Ability to train and educate customers on machine operation.
• Strong customer service skills are needed with the ability to exceed customer’s expectations.
• A strong customer service orientation and background required.
• Must have a clear phone voice with the ability to communicate clearly.
• Computer literate and proficient with using the Internet, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel is required.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license (Motor Vehicle will be performed on final candidate).

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

This position works in a shop/warehouse and inside an office environment. May, on a continuous basis, sit at desk for a period of time; answer telephone calls and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Walking and lifting up to 75 lbs. may be required. Noise level in the shop/warehouse is usually moderate to high and moderate to low in an office environment.
