Zusammenfassung

Altorfer Inc. is seeking a skilled technician to service and repair Caterpillar and other heavy equipment in our Springfield area shop. You will diagnose engine, electrical and hydraulic systems, with emphasis on safety and high-quality service.

This role requires three years of technical training and hands-on experience. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 lbs, work overtime and some weekends, and maintain a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of a formal technical training program with minimum three years’ experience.
• Must have engine, electrical & hydraulic diagnostic, trouble shooting and repair skills.
• Computer literate; familiar with programs such as Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Must follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment in shop.
• Must be a self-starter with good time management skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work overtime and some weekends when needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must lift up to 75 lbs and provide your own tools.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations in last 3 years; no major violations in last 5 years).

8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday - Friday, overtime and weekends as needed

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

This position works in a shop/warehouse environment. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 75 lbs. May be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields) when needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. May intermittently sit at a desk for a period of time to answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through email. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
