Job summary

The State of Indiana is hiring a Store Clerk in Indianapolis to handle stocking, disbursing, and controlling goods for incarcerated individuals in the commissary. Qualifications

• Must understand requisitioning and disbursing procedures.
• Knowledge of stock item locations and storage methods.

Responsibilities

• Authorize accuracy of all orders in storeroom and authorize goods received.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding partial shipments or mis-orders.
• Maintain detailed inventory records and order records.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of perishable items.
• Organize work for junior clerks in warehouse/commissary.
• Maintain security during supervision of incarcerated individuals in the area.
