Job summary

Haag Oil is seeking a Cashier / Team Member in Kansas to provide friendly customer service and operate the cash register and POS accurately. You will greet customers, respond to inquiries, and process transactions while maintaining a clean, stocked store across all areas including fuel zones and restrooms.

You will follow company policies, assist with displays and inventory, report hazards, and work cooperatively with coworkers and management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous customer service experience helpful; we will train.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Ability to handle cash accurately.
• Ability to stand, walk, stock, and perform routine cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
• Greet and thank customers and respond to questions and concerns promptly.
• Operate the cash register and POS equipment accurately and efficiently; handle cash and credit transactions.
• Follow safety, security, loss-prevention, and operating procedures; report hazards and incidents to management.
• Stock, price, rotate, face, and count merchandise; maintain clean and orderly sales areas, restrooms, and store grounds.
• Assist with displays, inventory, store equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Area Manager.
