Job summary

Haag Oil is seeking Team Members to provide friendly, efficient customer service, operate the cash register, and help stock and maintain clean store areas in Topeka, KS. The role requires following Haag Oil policies and procedures and assisting with displays, inventory, and safe operations.

Previous customer service experience is helpful; training is provided. Team Members must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous customer service experience helpful; we will train.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash accurately.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Ability to stand, walk, stock, and perform routine cleaning duties.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
• Greet and thank customers and respond to questions.
• Operate the cash register and POS equipment accurately.
• Handle cash, safe drops, credit cards, payouts and lottery according to policy.
• Stock, price, rotate, face, and count merchandise.
• Maintain clean and orderly sales areas and store grounds.
• Assist with displays, inventory, and store equipment.
• Report safety hazards and other concerns to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store/Area Manager.
