Grocery Services, Inc. is hiring a motivated Store Clerk for our Aldine location (77039). You will handle checkout, assist customers, manage inventory, stock shelves, and help keep the store clean and welcoming.

Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred. A high school diploma is preferred, retail experience is a plus, and you’ll work in a fast-paced environment as part of a supportive team that values care for the community.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Store Clerk to join our team at our Aldine location (Zip: 77039). This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while contributing to our mission of helping those who need it most. It all begins with you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Order merchandise from our warehouse or suppliers based on inventory levels and customer demand. Check product levels, expiration dates, and rotate stock. Occasionally conduct physical inventories.
• Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service at the checkout counter, assisting customers with their product selections and processing payments via cash, SNAP, or WIC cards.
• Stocking & Merchandising: Unpack, stock, and organize shelves, racks, and bins with new merchandise to ensure a well-stocked and visually appealing store.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness by routinely cleaning counters, shelves, floors, and bathrooms to ensure a safe and welcoming shopping environment.
• Team Support: Assist the store manager and other team members with any other duties or tasks needed to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
