Job summary

Grocery Services, Inc. is hiring a motivated Store Clerk for our Aldine location (77039). You will handle checkout, assist customers, manage inventory, stock shelves, and help keep the store clean and welcoming.

Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred. A high school diploma is preferred, retail experience is a plus, and you’ll work in a fast-paced environment as part of a supportive team that values care for the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or store clerk experience a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish (preferred).
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to take initiative.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management: order merchandise, check levels, rotate stock, and conduct inventories.
• Customer assistance at checkout and processing payments via cash, SNAP, or WIC.
• Stocking, merchandising, and organizing shelves and bins.
• Store maintenance: keep counters, shelves, floors, and bathrooms clean.
• Team support: assist store manager and colleagues with duties for smooth operations.
